JHZLHWYTIW2

What do those initials stand for, pray tell? Why Jesus Hates Zombies featuring Lincoln Hates Werewolves: Yea, Though I Walk 2, of course! :D

Here's the inked cover, fresh off the press!

From left to right several void and werewolves, Lincoln, werewolf zombie, zombie Gabriel, Jesus, and more werewolves, void, zombies and the like :D

Did I Happen To Mention...?

That issue 1 of Ham and Eggs is now available for purchase?

Yes? Oh...sorry! Well here's the link! Please buy some :D

The Slightly Askew Adventures of Inspector Ham & Eggs Issue 1

What do Shy Zombies and Sliders have in common?

Nothing really. It's a trick question. Oh! But there is one thing they have in common: Me! Here are some recent commissions of mine.

The first is a commission I did for my pal Chef Rob Burmeister, owner of Burmeister's Chow Gourmet! Quite possibly the tastiest damn sliders you've ever eaten in Beef, Turkey, Pulled Pork and more!

Here we have The Burgermeister:

The Burgermeister telling the little kiddies to be good burgermeisters otherwise nobody will want them

The Bag O' Baby Burgermeisters! Yes, such a beautious thing exists...but no they aren't alive thank god:

Pulled Pork, Turkey or Beef? Can't decide? I say get all three and mix and match with some equally hungry friends!:

And of course all babies need to crawl and make noise with something:

And moving on from the little meat patties, a rotting meat farm with personality! This here zombie is a commission for a friend of mine's friend (say that 10 times fast)

From pencils to color I bring you simply: The Christmas Zombie (not to be confused with The Christmas Sweater)

And there we have it folks! I'm currently taking commission requests by the way. So if you would like a zombie or a burger of your own just drop me a line at Lauren.Monardo@gmail.com

Cake

Don't do many portraits really, the zombie-fied portraits I did of
all the artists and writers on Jesus Hates Zombies: Those Slack-Jaw Blues
really helped though! Anyway, here's one of John McCrea of Cake,
for the daily theme "Cake" at Thought Faucet :)

Brain Juice

Well, things have been pretty hectic here! I was recently invited to join Thought Faucet, a really great art blog with Daily, Weekly and Monthly themes. It's a really great way to...well...get the brain juices flowing! Here are my first two (and only two at this point) posts for TF:

Weekly Theme: Green Vs Yellow

Weekly Theme: Plant People
"Bird Brain"

Ham Year One designs

Stephen and I, in addition to carrying on our current Ham and Eggs storyline, are also working out some ideas for a "Ham Year One" story. HYO will cover young Serrano Ham in his rise through the New Pork City Police Department and his eventual departure. Here are just a couple of designs, young Ham and young Giblets! Enjoy :)

Just so I don't take any undue credit, I didn't paint the BGs
I looked up old photos of NYC and 'dry brush' filtered the hell
out of them in PS :D

The original HYO design was clean shaven and had his signature coat.
After a few great suggestions from Stephen, the beard went on and the
Inspector Ham coat came off

Detective Jack Valentine Jones

They say that JV Jones is one bad motha...

Some Venture Shenanigans

Two of my favorite scenes I got to do on "My Dinner With Hatred" or "Home Is Where The Hate Is" according to iTunes for some reason...anywho, the intro with Hank and Dean:

And the Moppets chasing down Hank, Dean, 21 and 24
